Not really sure which are you referring to: the cancellation of KCH-JHB or 23x weekly LCC flights KCH-SIN.
Can't comment on Jetstar Asia, but the old TR (Tigerair) has merged with Scoot (Scoot uses TZ before the consolidation. Now Scoot inherits TR and abandoned TZ). MI and TR are from the same SIA group anyway, just different business model.

I can't say they hate Sarawak since KUL-KCH is cash printing route for MH afterall, after KUL-BKI.
