This building spoils the beautiful surrounding+_+Looks like a medium low cost apartment.
Kinda annoys me as i see this building everyday!

If anything it looks even better than the photos in the brochure so what is the issue of concern? It does not have a shiny glass facade but who wants that anyway...tend to get hot inside.

I just saw they completed some additional cladding for the carpark podium.

Still lotsa rubbish around the site. Time to clean up.

Received a letter from UDA dated 6th January 2012 which read as follows:

REVISED DATE OF VACANT POSSESSION FOR GAYA BANGSAR

It is with much regret that I have to inform you on some delay in the Vacant Possession of Gaya Bangsar due to non-clearance by one of the local authorities, in particular the IWK withrespect to sewage connection implemented by our contractor. The rectification works will take about 2 months.

Consequently, we will expect the Vacant Possession, complete with Certificate of Fitness, to be sometime in March/April 2012.

Notwithstanding the above, please be rest assured that UDA is committed to effectively complete the project and deliver all undertakings stipulated in the SPA.

We thank you for your patience and understanding on this matter. Your continuous business is always appreciated.

Signed by General Manager, UDA Urban Division.

Really hope they honour the SPA, especially relating to the LAD.. Based on my calculations my LAD would almost hit the RM100K mark by end of March 2012. Do you guys reckon UDA would pay it?

Just heard that sewerage work is now complete and so in effect the apartments are ready for handing over. Has anyone heard from the Developer or is this another rumour?

Finally received the Notice of Vacant Possession letter dated 9th March 2012 yesterday, which includes an invitation to inspect the units next week

Called UDA and the guy said cheque for LAD will be given together with the keys.

Relieved that the wait is almost over!
