This is big news for the CBD and I hope it does get started in November but I could see early 2016. I think Tony G is trying to sell the dream of the condos at the top with the other entrance and I hope he is able to pull it off, there is very little inventory downtown at the moment.

Renderings have been revealed for the Trail West building on Lower Broadway. I'm reading now that this will be a tear down and rebuild which is a bit of a bummer.

Lots of neat rehabs with additions happening in Nashville particularly on the boutique hotel front. PHofKS posted a neat diagram showing some of the boutique hotel rehab projects on Urban Planet. Both the Utopia and Noel Hotel rehabs will look great!

Great to see some reuse by developers of old buildings, new high rises are awesome but preserving old buildings/history is great as well. It's a fine line to walk and it's tough to do.

Totally agree on the condo front. I wonder what prices for 1 beds will be like? 12 12 topped out just over 400K for their priciest 1 bedrooms, none of which will have the ridiculous views that come from 40 stories up overlooking the whole city... Perhaps he may not even consider 1 bedroom condos and just go with straight 2 beds and up? That's certainly another consideration.
All that said, he's still got lots of money to raise before the construction loan is in place. Here's the hoping he gets that locked up in the next few weeks so this thing can get rolling.

What happened to all of the activity on this board? I have been posting on UP more recently as not as many posts are happening here. Let's hope we can bring it back!

I do not have nearly as much free time this year since starting a new job, but I try to post whenever I can. I'm not sure what happened to MIRYDI.
