Pear, Apple, Peach, they're the ones south of Churchill Way, concrete frames with grey brick infills?

I had a friend who lived in Fitzwarren many years ago.

I dont think Voldemort's modelled them or Fitzwarren yet, only the ones north of Churchill way and 'Bronte Court' AKA Rosehill and the other "done-up" one (name escapes me)!

Well thankyou for the advice - I actually didn't know they were getting demolished!! I don't think they should be - they're an (ugly) but wonderful addition to our skyline!!

Anyway; I don't like to post so much on here because it makes me feel big-headed; "Oooo look how good I am at modelling"; I assure you, It's just a good hobby of mine, Modelling.

Anyway; Another update. Google have accepted all those models in my previous post; so you can now check them out on Google Earth

I've also modelled a few more buildings in Manchester. 3 Hardman Square in Spinningfields, The Great Northern Warehouse and Tower, Number 5 Exchange Quay at Salford Quays and 'The Peninsular' building at the Green Quarter.

They are still to be reviewed by Google; and so are not in Google Earth yet.

You can check them out here;

Funny you should mention that; I tried it earlier and failed miserabely. Barton Square may be quite easy to do; but the Trafford Centre. If you tried to model that you'd probably end up pulling your hair out!

the problem is, i cant find any on the web. i may need to make a special trip down there but i seem to remember that their security staff get a bit nervous when they see people taking pictures outside.

Apart from it being generally a difficult building to model; Texturing was one of the main problems I had with this ...

Usually I get my building textures off of Street View; but Google don't seem to have gone anywhere near the main building which is a bummer! But yeah I can understand why security would get nervous ... :/

download the google earth application (not the same as google maps) and install it on your computer.

you should be able to see all the 3d buildings by default

To all my fans .

Here is the almost finished model inside google earth (since doing this image i have added the roof texture). It has now been submitted but i am certain it wont be accepted, not because the model is incorect, but because GE's terrain data is wrong.

As we all know, the site of this building is as flat as a pancake, but google earth seems to think that the trafford centre itself is a hill. This means that the model is impossible to place as certain parts are level, others are underground and others are floating (as you can see in the picture). Maybe this is the reason why no one else has done it because it wasnt realy that hard to model?

Oh well !
