I am loving the 'punched card' panels, hoping they make it through till the final build.

When I was a trainee programmer I had a programming manager who started out programming via punchd cards.

One day he had an epic rant, WHEN I WAS PROGRAMMER I HAD ONE COMPILE A DAY, SO I MADE DAMN SURE THERE WERE NO ERRORS IN MY CODE!!!!

AH the joys of ALT/CTL-R

18m quid? Knowing nothing about the cost of such things, that seems an absolute bargain! Looks very promising too.

Think they have done a superb job of incorporating the Invicta House facade into the modern tower.

The different aspects of this development now sit comfortably with both the ancient & modern townscapes that surround it.

All we need now is for Atkinson Street to be re-christened with its eighteenth century title - Cupid's Alley - & it will be perfect!

This will be wonderfully refreshing in Spinningfields sea of blue glass. Buildings like this in the future will make the area.

Moxy is a terrible name, but I think the building is great.

Lovely this.
The less 'glass and steel' the better at the moment...but only because that's been used a patronising term from many a writer/social commentator over the past few years. This makes the 'new city' hard to pigeon hole.
Even if corporate Spinningfields is not your thing, a walk around there is a real eye opener (and gets more interesting by each new project).

Loving all these boxy developments in Manchester.
