Pre-sub notes posted online.

Most interesting parts to me:

14. BW proposed question about height limit, if it is departable relative to
mechanical use above 500’ [as is the case in DMC zoning]. WT would like to place amenity and mechanical spaces at/above 500’ height limit per Code section 23.49.008.D.3. SDCI: Amenity is not mechanical; NO other comment.
15. BM stated that massing options presented at EDG will need to show future projects currently being planned in the area, especially WSCC expansion. Do not show the previous MUP design, unless it is one of the 3 Massing
Options. BM recognized that tower placement would be somewhat limited due to tower spacing on the north, and Metro tunnel on the south. Explore variation in the ground floor plan and podium use options at EDG. Do not include FAR matrix in EDG packet.
16. DF stated the new Preferred Option has all parking below grade and a shared entrance lobby, but this will require a curb cut in order to provide preferred hotel access and passenger loading safety.

LC, God bless ya. From your fingertips to God's ear. I've been wanting this project to move forward for the past few years.

It's comical that we are unsure if something can go a bit over 500' for a residential tower in such a central location. I won't restate all the pro-height arguments, but this zone in particular seems so arbitrary.
