Three videos of the old Granada tramways.

Some of the streets that had the old trams will have the new ones too, notably near the railway station.

The latest news is that the section Albolote-La Caleta would open by 2015.
The rest of the line by 2016.

Update.

Things are getting faster now.

All the sections are finished or in advanced works, and finally, the least advanced área, the one around the railway station, has started the works (permission from Adif was hardly won).

Here is some stuff.

Alcázar-Genil station entrance:

I think the station entrance is very classy and beautiful.

If you compare them with the metro entrances in Málaga and Sevilla, the ones in Granada are wonderful.

For instance, a metro station in Sevilla: http://www.urbanrail.net/eu/es/sevil...-Sebastian.htm

Yes, these are definitely better than the ones you cited but sometimes I feel that a simple sign and stairs leading down would be sufficient. For example like in Paris or London. These things don't always have to be fancy.

Yes, I agree with you. Most underground stations in Madrid and Barcelona just have stairs, escalators and/or elevators leading down from the sidewalk. I don't know why the Andalusian government, in charge of the construction of the Sevilla, Málaga and Granada metros, decided to add these structures to all underground stations. Maybe they wanted to copy the Bilbao metro, but they failed to do so properly in Sevilla and Málaga.
