while santa rosa ay kulang pa ng 165 million to hit the 2 billion mark.medyo malayo pa yun pero let's see if it is also doable for santa rosa by reminiscing the ups and down of the lion city last year

THE UPS AND DOWN OF THE LION CITY
CAN SANTA ROSA HIT THE 2 BILLION INCOME FOR 2012? (PART 1)

FORD'S SHUTDOWN

Quote:
JUNE 27,2012-Ford Philippines, a unit of US automaker Ford Motor Company, is closing its only car assembly plant in the country next year, saying the market is too small.

The last Escape vehicles will be rolled off the Sta. Rosa plant by the end of the year.

FORD ESCAPE

Ford had invested $270 million in the Sta. Rosa plant, which opened in 1999. The company said it had exported more than 80,000 vehicles worth $1 billion over to Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia since 2002.

This is the second time the US automaker has pulled out of the Philippine market. It pulled out of the Philippines in 1980s before restarting in 1999.
FORD'S SHUTDOWN is a big lost for santa rosa since it is the 2nd highest taxpayer in the city for 2011
