I do like Atrium on Bay but other than that examples of this proportion married with appealing design are rare in this city. This was one of the rare examples post 1930 in Toronto of a building with these proportions that I liked.
I don't find those 60s blocks in the gaybourhood similar at all and to repeat my position: the issue with those 60s blocks was to redesign for optimal use of scarce land. It wasn't about land efficiency and meeting 2 needs instead of 1. Saying that I don't like them is a massive over simplification of the argument I made in that thread.

Okay, well... its not like I was expecting you to actually agree with me, so maybe we can now just move on! The project is quite likely not going to fly for some time, and even when and if it does it may look different.
