Forum meeting between 04-07.06 in London
Hi,
i will be in London at the beginning of June. Most things i want to visit in London i know from movies, travel guides and so on. But i want to know more and see more. That`s why i would like to meet one or more of you. The meetings i had so far (around 10) have been always fun. I spend all in all 6 nights in London close to the Kings Cross Station. So i have enought time for a meeting. Anyone interested? |

Noone interested to show and explain me more of London?
I hope you can help me with the following topic: Right now i have heard that the Queen has a big party the entire weekend. There should be an event with 1000 ships. When and where should i be to have a good view? What are other big events, when will they start and where do they happen? |

That's exactly what it is, the Queen's big party ;D
The Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant: This event will take place on the Thames on Sunday 3rd June and consist of up to 1,000 boats assembled from across the UK, the Commonwealth and around the world. The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh will travel in the Royal Barge which will form the centrepiece of the flotilla. Approximate timings are as follows: 14:30BST – The Queen embarks the Royal barge, the Spirit of Chartwell, near Albert Bridge 16:15BST – The Royal Barge comes alongside HMS President (Royal Naval Reserve Unit), near Tower Bridge Here's the website. |

10 degrees, rain and wind. I always imagined that this is a typical British summer day. And i was prooven right.
  Thanks for the help so far.  When and where will be the firework? Anything else, except the concert i shouldn`t miss because of the Queen? |

London's had some beautiful weather recently, it's just a shame it rained on this day.
