What scares me is that this is a cluster of buildings without an open public space.

Building of P15-B Cyberpark Araneta switches to high gear
by Tribune Wires | Monday | 08 June 2015

Araneta Center’s 15 billion peso mega project is now rising fast within Quezon City’s premier central business district, as the first tower of the much anticipated Cyberpark-Araneta Center rapidly nears completion by the end of 2015.

A massive development by the Araneta Group, the eight-hectare Cyberpark master-planned district will ultimately comprise five BPO towers purpose-designed to address the latest accommodation requirements of the offshoring and outsourcing industry.

According to the news report posted by Infiniti, there is a park of some sort. But I can't see it from the render above.

"The Araneta Group made sure that additional value is offered by focusing the design intent of the Cyberpark’s master plan on providing livable indoor and outdoor spaces that will take advantage of and complement the conveniences and amenities of the Araneta Center.
The five towers, totaling 650,000 square meters, surround a lushly landscaped outdoor park that offers a serene and relaxing atmosphere in a suburban campus setting to the additional 100,000 strong BPO work force who will soon be working within the complex."

the Aranetas were very resistant on the original proposal to remove the coliseum. They still think AC is the heart and soul of Cubao, therefore it should stay..

Kung matuloy talaga redevelopment ng Farmers Market, saan sila lilipat?

Fake landscaping at the podium level cannot be real open public spaces.

(Basing this judgment on the photo)

It is... Well I hope that it would turn out fine even if it is fake. But I guess it would not be accessible to the public if it is located at the podium level of those buildings. By the size of Araneta Center, there is no more feasible location to build a park since their plan is to populate it with buildings.

I don't think they should remove it. It's already a part of Philippine history like Madison Square Garden is to Americans.

What they should definitely do is a complete modernization and overhaul. That means not just the exterior, but a modernization of the interior and amenities as well.

Ang ganda na ng Araneta Center ngayon. Ang daming pagbabago. Compare to 1980's or 1990's, almost 40-55% na ang nawalang buildings and establishments. Sa tingin nyo?
