Share Faisal looking so clean, uncluttered and open without the ugly hoardings and billboards removed on supreme court order.

Now the outdoor hoarding companies has come up with an even uglier idea of cladding the buildings exterior with ugly and hideous panaflex extra large banners and flex screens. People need to boycott products displayed on them and voice their concern on social media and elsewhere. Already one can see such hideous display at Shaheen Complex, which had totally devoid the building of its shape.

Need to stop it now, Hope Supreme Court passes some order to stop it as this comes under visual clutter and visual pollution. Large companies should follow the CSR and not display their products on buildings disfiguring them. They should understand it is kind of negative publicity, people hate these intrusion of public spaces and buildings.

People need to voice their concern on public forums so that MNC's and big companies should not go about doing this. There is still too much visual clutter in Karachi and other cities. Need to start a tree plantation campaign by MNC's and big corporations. Like 'own a tree', own a large tract of wooded area kind of thing. Check how Singapore is now one of the greenest and cleanest city which was full of concrete just a few years ago.

That's what changed...those rusting billboards are all gone. I knew something looked different, just couldn't catch it.

Within limits, outdoor advertising is not a problem. But of course, Pakistanis don't keep anything within limits. Even the ads on TV are ridiculously spammy and repeated far too often when compared with TV ads in developed countries. So it's better that all forms of outdoor ads are banned.
