Georgetown is such a mystery now that I don't pay a lick of attention to it. I don't expect anything to be built on that site for another five years.

It's only a .6 acres parcel, so probably nothing of interest to us here... Can't check to make sure though. city portal is down tonight for maintenance apparently.

Vacant lot at 103 South Howard is being rezoned to become a surface lot.

It's up on the portal. Hearing is Feb 11.

Camden Property Trust (NYSE: CPT) has filed plans with the city to build a 297-unit apartment complex on a 12.3-acre site between Lois and Manhattan avenues — just south of the Walmart Supercenter on Gandy Boulevard.

There's rezoning entries that aren't open yet both for both 405 S Melville and 210 S Arrawana Ave.

So this is a weird, these two projects are by the same developer and guess what else, they're nearly identical.

405 S Melville is a 4 unit townhome project:





210 S Arrawanna Ave is also a 4 unit townhome project:

Driving down Dale Mabry today...

The Britton Plaza Publix is nearing completion, signs are going up on the facade.

South Dale Plaza across the street is being demolished.

The former Krystal Burger building is now home to Jimmy John's.

Also, does anyone know about the townhouse project along Interbay Blvd just west of Dale Mabry?

Old Winn Dixie on Manhattan/Gandy to become...a church...I was expecting this to happen.

Source: TBT (though they got parts of the article wrong. Like, uh...no...that space was never a Sweetbay. But Delhaize snagged it years ago to prevent competition)

New mystery grocer got initial approval tonight. It's a grocer not yet in Florida. Corner of Dale Mabry and Estella.

This was our old location, sort of got shafted by the owner on our lease.

Still, glad to see this much improved development on this site, it was a mess.

And btw, the Checkers across the street is coming back after a multi-year hiatus. It closed during the Gandy Blvd redo and I thought it would never see the light of day again. However, as time went on, perhaps the owner was just waiting for the right time to return...
