I don't know anything for certain, but it would make sense considering the changes to traffic flow at that junction that will need to be made for the tram.

Don't know why or how it could come up between Torch and MHT. Would make more sense to link with the Torch access road rather than create a new junction with the main road. This new service road would then service all the unbuilt plots in this area. Crazy thing is that they had a service road there before and removed it.

Maybe this is signalling the start of work on one of the plots in this area, now that the property market seems to be stabilizing.

nah i don't think its related to the restart of the project i think its related to the work on the tramway going on the parallel street.

Well I think the area would be great to reenact the 1st world war trench battles ... I wish they would put boards explaining the work as well as the length of the work. its frustrating to see all hell go loose without being notified ...

very good point! Dubai is lacking behind a lot in these things and becomes very frustrating for the affected people to be disturbed and not know why, especially the guys around Ocean Heights, it's a nightmare...

Tall block in general. The streets are ghetto no lights at night, Heaps of sand or construction materials, Hazard cables being left in the open, huge wholes, shitty roads... no uturns... yipee
