One day, I have to print out your models and build them. Unfortunately, they're not in my personal scale...

Edit: Oh wait, one can print out graphics in any size, right? Omg, me... XD

Just to let everyone know I'm back to working on 277 again. I was layed up
with a bad cold and sinusitis (sinus headaches) for the past couple of weeks.

Unfortunately I've also just discovered to get the proper proportions on
this building the windows on the front and back of the tower are of
a different width of those on the sides, and the winged setback
windows are of a different width as well other wise it wont wrap
around the tower correctly. And the windows on the sides of the wing
has many varying widths as well so as to sit properly on it's lot. So now
I have to make up a crazy amount of different window templates for
the copy and paste job. Full blinds, half blinds, no blinds, column
transfers. This width, that width. Somebody wake me up! On the
bright side I am developing a certain affection towards the building.
Expect completion sometime before winter.

Wow I'm really exited to see the final model, I hope you finish it before winter hahah, It will be great to see 270 and 277 together across eachother. BTW your right, the 270 Park av. is infact a tiny bit taller than 383 madison ave.
although trying to print in in 1:1700 i set the scale on 14,2% in photoshop.
anyway, looking forwarth to this model!

If you print 270 park at 14.2% you'll have an even taller building, but it
will be as close to 1:1700 as possible.

I've yet to printout 383 madison so I can't tell you the scaling for it. But I
do know that 270 park should be 12.6 cm and 383 madison should be
13.5 cm at 1:1700 scale.
