One of the biggest gift has been the clearing up of the island at the Beleghata crossing that was sticking out and creating nasty traffic jams during the office hours. Let's see if it's temporary or it's going to stay this way even after the WC.

Bidhan Nagar/Salt Lake is indeed one of the best localities in Kolkata; grandeur redefined...

'Wish the Metro construction gets over ASAP so that the construction materials can be cleared away from the roads.

Excellent video. And excellent roads of sl. Does SL seriously gave yellow colored zebra crossings?? If so, who gave the idea and why? This entire video, btw, looks like Kolkata 2030. Just perfect clean roads with proper lane markings, no unwanted hawkers, smooth traffic, greenery on all sides.

Waiting for FIFA to accept india's bid to host under 20 world cup. If that happens, then we can hope for more beautification and also maintenance and infra development in kolkata again!

Imp for kolkata to come out of mother teresa's downtrodden city image. We cant change the opinion of people of other parts of india due to politics but we can bring some change in international level.
