The arena looks OK, but are they really going to play RUGBY on this ?
It looks like a playground carpet.
A lot of rugby payers in France and elsewhere suffer serious injuries.
They should learn from the US "football" disasters...
This is definitely a nice arena but not a place for rugby IMO.

From a technical standpoint, how the gigantic "display" (or screen) will work?

Saracens, Newcastle, Cardiff and Glasgow in the UK have been playing on 4G pitches for a few years without and serious injuries caused by the surface. When finished the pitch will look like this.

It's not because you know nothing about this/these new generation(s) of artificial Rugby pitches (approved by the IRB/World Rugby since several years, dear!), that they are not very good and already used without any issue by several different teams, as mentioned above (including also BTW Racing92 and the France national team at their respective training centers).

So nothing to do with the pitches/turfs used in US football decades ago. ()

65 video projectors attached to the roof will be used to create which will be the largest projection area in the world (i.e. kind of a huge -and brighter- version of cinema theater screens): up to 2,400m2/25,833sq.ft. on the back white wall (reduced to 1,400m2/15,000sq.ft. during rugby games in order to not disturb the players) + 4,000m2/43,000sq.ft. of projection area on the ground (for concerts, shows etc).
