Upper Chorlton Road from Chester Road roundabout to the Whalley pub then Manchester Road to Sandy Lane. Pretty much the fastest most direct route.

Won't be segregated the full length due to width restrictions and mature trees but bikes behind parking, slightly raised bike paths where unprotected and hopefully some lessons learned from the mistakes on the Wilmslow route around Rusholme.

My word - that's really exciting! It will revolutionise cycling in the area if its done right - there are so many people who cycle in this neck of the woods, yet the only safe routes into town are to cut north to the canal or cut to the number 6 route via Alexandria park or just weave through the many back streets. Hope its finished before I move back from London. I do miss cycling in the leafyness of South Manchester

Projected to be 18 months before it starts. the road is a border with Trafford so they have to be on board to do their bit.
