Milanofiori sud 2 tower 180 m. high
Curvo 170 m
Altra sede 161 m
Varesine 1 150 m.

Hi,
I am really impressed with Milan skyscraper (and not only) development. It is very surprising that so many office towers are build in Milan – economical capital of Italy, the country where GDP growth within last 15 years was close to “zero”. Also demographic figures are not so much positive, when we compare to England or France…
Are those investments the result of reforms of Italian economy which changes from industrial oriented into service, R&D, BPO, finance sectors?

Reducing everything to a point of GDP, which then is not an index of wealth, it seems to me wrong. In Italy there is a sub-economy based on resources (see Abruzzo, which was not the land of industries, but its economy was based on university, with one of the most important universities in Italy).
However ... in general economic terms ... GDP covers the whole Italy, but if the only concern GDP Milan, would be the highest in Europe
