Istanbul Landmark Tower project, developed by Foster and Partners architects, is a 250m high mixed-use skyscraper with an underground multi-level car park. From an urban point of view the location area is one of the most lively in Istanbul in recent last years.
The development comprises different functions: residential apartments, a hotel, offices and high-end retail premises. In cooperation with other teams Systematica took part in the development of the tower covering all mobility related tasks and the design of the parking levels layout as well as the loading bays layout.
With this specific aim Systematica carried out studies on existing traffic volumes and on traffic volumes attracted/originated by the new settlement. Systematica developed several schemes concerning private vehicles and service accessibility. In parallel, our team calculated the number of parking spaces needed and entirely designed the layout of underground parking levels and loading bays as well.
