I googled it but all I could find was "Pelvic inflammatory disease".

It's a Passenger Information Display - one of those things at Metrolink/Rail stations that tell you where the next train is

Axis will eventually be 20 floors (replacing the plant floor which was for the commercial aspect).

Also I'd go as far as adding 3 St Peter's Square (11 floors) in there aswell - especially as you've added Landmark.

Great list however as usual.

Not sure why I put 13 floors for Axis; I was well aware that it's 20 floors! Silly me. I guess you know it's me writing if there's a few mistakes in there

I haven't added Number 3 SPS just because we haven't heard as much on it as we have about Landmark. I think Landmark - with its property developers Hines already having stuff going on in Birmingham - will get going long before Number 3 SPS.

I hope I'm wrong and they both get going at the same time though!!

If we hear anything from the developers of 3SPS (who even are they?) then it'll be added to the list in no time

Fair one. I was aware of Hines and the recent article about getting Landmark moving.

As for the developers of 3 SPS, those will be The Co-Op and AXA. Pretty decent site swell.

I don't think it was added because it's not over 10 floors. However I had forgotten about this project and glad to see it moving fast. For student accommodation I kinda like it

Just adding some things to the Construction Timeline for May which have only just been flagged up;

- The East Didsbury Metrolink Line will open on 17th May
- Mosely Street Metrolink Station closes on the 18th/19th May

Cheers VDB. Good to hear about the opening of the East Dids Metrolink line. The Metrolink thread moves too fast for me to keep up with (and most of the conversation is way above my level of interest) and the Future Metrolink site still said an opening of 'summer 2013'. Will Mosely Street close permanently then?

My pleasure. Yes over the years more and more Metrolink drivers and workers have got wind of the thread and the conversation is way too topical and confusing for my simpleness.

I think Metrolink wanted to get the line open as soon as possible to compensate for the late openings in East Manchester and Rochdale.

Yes Mosley St stop will close forever, to be replaced by a new Passenger Information Display telling passengers when & where the next tram to Altrincham will depart from

Will the platform itself be taken away and reverted to ground level?

If not, that disappointing.

I assume the stop will close first and then all the shelters and ticket machines put into storage, before the platform is then taken away. I assume so, seems needless to keep it
