I think the heritage buildings are no longer in danger of falling into an excavation hole, =)

Yes, project no longer "in the air".

This is even more exciting, now that we don't take it for granted.

Anyone see any work being done on weekends? That's the surest sign of a really tight construction schedule.

I can't discern much visible progress in a month. Not a good sign. I wonder what the holdup is.

YF could you see any progress?

Construction is progressing, they are cutting away the supports that were holding up the heritage building. Should be a while still before we see upward progress again.

Reports of concrete being poured.

YF, when you're in "da hood":

Your job, should you choose to accept it (like the old Mission Impossible
TV series would always begin, LOL), is to discreetly take an update photo.

I heard on the news that construction may be hampered before, during, and after the olympics because they don't want to clog up the roads for the tourists. I think they quoted from between Jan to March, which is a long time and will seriously delay this project.

In fact, I think they will close all the roads to construction vehicles, the only way around this is to apply for a waiver. Jameson House already applied and was apparently denied because it's too close to the media centre.
