Renovations to the top level of Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown Food Court nearly completed. A few vendors still to move in.

Anyone know (or can guess at) why its seems to be so difficult to fill all the empty shops in the somewhat-recently-renovated Beenleigh Mall?

A quick update of Lutwyche City Shopping Centre.

A few new vendors appearing and some relocated.

Terry White Chemart has opened with a health food section refrigerated, dry and process health foods. A great concept. Every second Thursday is 20% off the entire range in store. (Health food lines only).

New Travelators and Food Court as below.

New Supermarkets and relocations of them are yet to happen.

Thought the Artisan Cobbler was a bakery but it's a revamped Mister Minute

A little bit of Garden City news that slipped past my attention until seeing the Construction Management Plan lodged this week, the Council Library is moving from it's current spot to a new one on tye upper level of the (I believe) old David Jones part of the centre (now the carpark down past the music shop, facing the corner of Logan and Kessels Roads).

It will have a new, external elevator for access, but I still think it's weird having it in upstairs, rather than at ground level.

Not sure if it was mentioned before but 8 Street has now opened at Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre. It's pretty popular and has added a fair bit of foot traffic to the Coles end of the shopping centre which prior to its opening had about four empty tenancies. A good draw to the centre which hopefully will be built on by the reported 2018 addition of a cinema, 'leisure activity' and another large restaurant tenancy. The bakery has also reopened as an independent bakery after the collapse of the Bakers Delight franchise. Their website has lots of photos http://8street.com.au/8-street-mt-ommaney
