Fantastic podium, but the tower on top of it looks hideous!

OK, I take back the crap comment, in the daytime it looks better in those pictures than I remember from my last day in town. Maybe I saw it half done, it was a couple of weeks ago.

The time of day seems to change the look too, when the sun is shining right on it it looks a bit bland but once a few shadows start to appear it looks much better.

Not to my taste, but I like that it's something different for the mall.

Just to carry this thread on through to completion, the Elizabeth Street facade has started to be positioned. I don't imagine that it's going to be lit up to the extent of the Queen Street facade, but I'm hoping something along the lines of the Edward Street facade is possible.

Just to show what it's covering up (an open and visible podium carpark)

They also have to integrate it with the Hilton Hotel facade next door (part of the same complex), so it should be interesting to see how that end up working...

although the butterflies are a bit much for me, much much better than the view of the car park!! nice work.. reckon sydney car parks could do with something like this!

It is a great option to hide often ugly carparks. The Wintergarden's has largely been covered now that the second half has gone up. It doesn't appear to feature lighting like the other sides sadly, but it's still a massive improvement!

The Oxford and Peter Sheppard windows will be an important facade element when the ramps are removed (can't come soon enough).
