Show us pictures of your sporting venue façade. Historic buildings tend to have the best facades, but a stadium or arena of any age is fine. What are the most famous facades in your state, province, region, or country? When were these facades built? Were they retrofitted in more recent times to accomodate new demands?
Facade is made out of copper and iron. They are some sort of wire nets made out of copper and iron.
Handball Arena for London Olympics in 2012 will use copper facade as well. Are those 2 only major sports venues with such facades or are there some other venues like like?
The American Airlines Center looks pretty nice for a newer arena. They did a good job with neo-Art Deco and designing it like the basketball areas of old.
While main gates to enter the stadium are open and intimidating due to the size of the grandstands, the facade of the ballpark is more intimate. The "front door" is the suit and club entrance.
One interesting thing about the facade, that many people do not notice or realize, is that the brickwork features designs in the shapes of baseball fields. Additionally, bricks spell out "PHILADELPHIA" across the front.
