And the slope matches. Wonder what will become of what is presumably a concept for future development (there are still active leases).
The 6 year WALT will slow down (or increase the cost) of any major redevelopment, So I suspect the plans may have been banged together to try to help the sale along, ( there is no mention of any consents at all)

"Mountain Road Apartments", 24 Mountain Road, Epsom:

From NZ Force website. Appears to be a former SHA that was originally planned for completion in 2018 with 80 apartments. On the corner of Mountain Road and Seccombes Road. In other words, yet another addition for this area.

Is this the corner site with a huge old house on it?

I'd rather if it is the house stayed.

Hopefully the developers are avid Skyscrapercity readers, see your post and knock it down then!

That said, no there wasn't a house, it was an empty site.

Very interesting find. I've seen a showroom model similar to this in the past, i wonder whether this means something may become of this site.

Nice find!

We first came upon this via mission2mas on Instagram almost three years... so yet another glacial speed project

I like the overall form but it feels 10 floors shorter than it should be.

I agree. Especially considering Customs Residential and The Pacifica are mor or less in the same block. This will get lost

As much as I'd love it to happen, I'm very doubtful... This site is in the same camp as NDG's - they are allergic to buildings.

Well at least the proposal to build a 4 level parking structure here a few years back fell through.

That would be ideal. Although, not complaining, it will still be a good addition to the skyline if built.
