[QUOTE=Condodoc;128107032]Ready na ang notice of award....makakapagsimula na ang Ayala sa pagpapagawa ng Integrated South Terminal sa Arca South!

Yes, two buildings within the ITS lot have been long demolished. A significant part of the old Uniden factory is being demolished as well. Also, road widening preparations have begun along the East Service Road on the way to C5/Magallanes. If rumors are true, then the Tenement Market will be demolished by December. Things are finally moving!

Ayala Land awarded P4-B integrated terminal system in FTI complex in Taguig

MANILA - After two months of delays, property developer Ayala Land Inc., has been awarded the P4-billion second integrated terminal system in south Metro Manila, at a site inside the Food Terminal Inc. complex in Taguig City.

A November 13 letter from the Pre-qualificaton, Bids and Awards Committed (PBAC) of the The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) said the bid of Ayala Land Inc. for the South Integrated Transport System Project was the “best bid.”

The DOTC subsequently approved the recommendation of the PBAC and issued a notice of award to ALI as winning bidder, giving it 20 days to sign the notice of award and provide proof that the entity meets the financial capability qualification requirements; and letters from reputable financial institutions expressing their wilingness to provide sufficient credit facilities.

Construction begins by May 2016 and is expected to be completed and ready for operation by October 2017.

^with all due respect, it was kind of expected that Ayala will do their best to get ITS South, since Arca South is there. Unless you have concrete evidence of such claim, you can keep your conspiracy theories to yourself

that's circular reasoning. and honestly, it's only funny for you because you're not the one who's being accused in the same manner.

PHOTO | Hundreds stranded in transport holiday

MANILA - Even as the transport group called off its strike before lunch Monday, the mass action of its members caused hundreds of passengers to be stranded.

Shown here are passengers at the Arca South Terminal (formerly FTI) in Taguig City after the Alliance Of Concerned Transport Organisation (ACTO) conducted its "Wage Transport Holiday Strike" starting 6 a.m. Monday.

InterAksyon.com noted that among the affected were those going to Alabang, Pasay, Pasig, Ayala, and Quezon City.

The ACTO drivers were protesting the phase-out of old jeepneys.

They called off the strike after meeting with Chairman Winston Ginez of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

There are already 4 cranes standing in Arca South. 1 for the Arbor Lanes site and 3 for the Mix-Used Development along the Arca Boulevard.

4 cranes are already visible in Arca south's mixed use development and another 1 for arbor lanes. Road works and demolition of remaining old FTI buildings are still in progress. No movement yet with the lots near the east service road.

An integrated transport hub will soon rise at the southern edge of the metropolis, as the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) has signed the Concession Agreement for the South Integrated Transport System (ITS) which will help connect almost 200,000 mobile commuters from Laguna, Batangas, Quezon, and Bicol to the heart of the city.

I always pass by the Arca South complex and ride an Arca South(FTI)-Quiapo UV Express at their temporary transport terminal going to my school but last Saturday was my only chance to take a pic of the site. Here are the February 6, 2016 Arca South updates:

SM Hypermarket FTI (Not a part of the Arca south complex but enough to provide information what's the situation around the vicinity of Arca south)

The road adjacent to the still under construction Arca Boulevard.

The 4 cranes for the mixed-use development can be seen if you remove those trees.

Road going to the temporary transport terminal and where the C-5/FTI/Skyway Connector Road can be seen in the near future.

Crane of Arbor Lanes seen(upper left). Tricycles going to the PNR FTI station(middle), Puregold FTI(right)
