Libya - Aerial Survey for the New Motorway Route from Al Marj to Tunis Border with Connection to Benghazi.
A significant project for conducting aerial survey of the New Motorway Route from Al Marj to Tunis Border with Connection to Benghazi was signed by Geomatics in Benghazi.
The project concerns the preparation of base maps at scales 1:5.000 and 1:1.000 for the needs of a highway design from Al Marj to Tunis Border and the connection of the highway with Benghazi.
Following tasks will be conducted in the framework of this contract:
Compilation of base maps at scale 1:5.000 for the needs of preliminary design
- Aerial photography at a GSD of 40 cm for a corridor of 5.500 m
- Horizontal ground control and photo control
- DTM generation
- Preparation of digital orthophotomaps
Compilation of base maps at scale 1:1.000 for the needs of final design
- Aerial photography at a GSD of 10 cm for a corridor of 1.300 m
- Horizontal ground control and photo control
- DTM generation
- Preparation of digital orthophotomaps
- Preparation of vector maps

If you wanted to travel to Libya you had to translate your whole passport to Arabian by the official translator pointed out by Libyan embassy.
International driving licence was probably ok to use as it is in Arabian also.
