Holy shit, Jive.

This is proof that STL can stand up with the very best of architecturally rich American cities.

Great Pics. I go to school at SLU and it looks like a lot of those pictures were taken in the same area that I go to school in. STL is a pretty cool city.

I enjoyed this thread, Jive. (I set it to some hip hop and went on a little journey.) Saint Louis definitely has impressive density and a beautiful housing stock. So many of the homes and buildings are architectural gems with great style. Some of the photos even reminded me of Brooklyn. Overall, Saint Louis is easily one of the most urban cities in the midwest.

ha...this is one of the most interesting photo threads I've seen in this forum.

Why didn't you post those pix in the Cityscapes & Skyline photos section?

Such a unique style of architecture! Love the bricks!

And what a wonderful city and gem of the U.S. you have there!! Great pictures and thanks for your time putting this great thread together!

I especially like the second picture. It looks like an award winner to me, showing the diversity and randomness of America.
