you can go for a business trip or get employed or I hear many yemenis and jordanians go to saudi to search for a job then take a tour
Non-muslims:
can enter saudi only if you have been employed by a saudi company, you cannot get employed by going to saudi and searching for a job you must find the job online I think because waiting for a saudi company to come and employ you is close to impossible.
If you have relatives there I think you might be able to visit (I'm not sure about this one)
It is very interesting to see all these wonderful photos of Jeddah. I have recently been out there for work and have taken many photos (with the permission of the Municipality) of Jeddah which I will happily post at a later stage.
WOW.................. I really love these pics. All these days i used to think that Jeddah is some desert city. But , its altogether a different package.
Hats off to the photographers.
:eek2:
Yemini Guy,
There are plenty of projects in Riyadh like King Abdullah Financial District, Rajhi Tower, Anoud Tower, Business Park, etc. Look them up in this forum.
This's the 1st time I hear somebody saying that Khobar is the best city in Saudi Arabia :weirdo:
Jeddah is the best city in Saudi Arabia without any worthy competition from any other city in the country. Hell, it should be the capital of the kingdom.
I don't know about that tho...Jeddah is better off without all the government offices and ministries and whatnot....making it the capital would probably bring in more mutawwas (more poweful ones like in Riyadh).....and take away the relative openness the city enjoys...
soo these thread was hot recently  oh will two month gone without any update by me, some who say about my icon (Avitor)why i put it ??? in fact i like these image he is handsome & gintel anyway i chenge it now with my photo these time you should be happy
the only time ive been to jeddah was during the Hajj. Jeddah airport looks a complete wreck. It's not exactly the best first impression to give visitors. Why is it in such a terrible condition anyhow? I thought Saudi was more advanced than this but i left feeling that it was on a par with a third world country.

SUR... I believe this is maybe because 2 million pilgrims come in almost a small period of time that makes it very hard to manage this huge airport...?
well technical capacity of Jeddah's Hajj terminal is still not fulfilled so that cant be the problem. Plus Hajj only happens once every year. The state of Jeddah airport is deplorable, its like a trip to the late 70 early 80 interiors. The gov't is dragging their heels. im getting the notion that THe Saud family is no longer interested in Jeddah anymore, so many projects going to Riyadh and in terms of air traffic theirs excess capacity there (terminal 4 has never been opened).

whereas riyadh gets a lot of attention from the government....jeddah is a lot more self-dependent.....and is almost on its own.....
still...there is no hiding the fact that jeddah probably has the worst airport of any major city in the GCC....and not only the infrastructure...but the people as well....the custom officials need to act like they are being paid to provide a service...and not doing everyone a favor by working in between coffee and prayer breaks...
