True that! They don't even have to backread previous pages because the posts that could have cleared their confusion is just within this page.

Naisip ko tuloy mag initiate ng Ayala Triangle/Roxas Triangle Guided Tour a la Carlos Celdran, 1k per person, 2.5k if may kasamang merienda sa Blackbird!

When I lived in Makati 20 years ago the Ayala Triangle was almost totally undeveloped. It's a pity at least half the area wasn't made into a park - something like Lumpini Park in Bangkok. Too late now I guess.

More than half of the Ayala Triangle will still be a park once the project is completed. They're just using some parts of it as a construction staging area for now. But the areas not covered by Ayala Tower Two and the Mandarin Oriental be converted back into a park.

Because it looks so counterintuitive now, people don't seem to realize that the bigger the excavation area is, when you only have two towers and small podiums, the bigger the remaining open park area would eventually be and the more guarded it will be against future developments on it because that would have meant more developed area has been allocated underneath the park now instead of possibly being built on (top of) it in the future.

actually, based on that render above, the structures occupy more than half of the ayala triangle - makati stock exchange, tower 1, phisix, the restaurant row, the common open car park, blackbird resto, the up-coming towers and their podiums.

Sadly, we have to accept the fact that the beloved Ayala Triangle Gardens are gone for good and forever. Expect the Ayala hacienderos to build more structures on that tiny piece of land until it is transformed into a concrete jungle and the last standing tree is felled.

Nahiya pa ang mga Ayala na sakupin ang buong Ayala Triangle.. Nagpakipot pa sila.. Thank you Ayala for that Atrium-looking park! I think that is now as small as Velasquez Park inside Salcedo Village. Tapos in the future, lalagyan pa yan mga weekend tiangge... LOL

the ayalas are spanish in the first place. and like what they (spanish) have given us in terms of town planning, their open spaces are just the size of our town plazas....it was the americans who introduced urban planning (along with wide avenues, sprawling open spaces, etc) by way of luneta. thanks to burnham

like almost every developer their "green" image is just for PR, eventually due to economic greed err reasons they have to give up space for the $$$.

Ayala Triangle Redevelopment - Tower 2 and Mandarin Oriental Hotel [38F|22F|m...

Although this map is not accurate, I appears that the would-be remaining green park of Ayala Triangle will still be bigger than Salcedo Park.

(some Pokémons to scale, hehe)

That was a pretty long run-on sentence. Anyways, the construction of the two towers on top of a single unified foundation basically disallows the future construction of a structure that would further decrease the size of the park. But there's certainly nothing that would stop the Ayalas from building a fourth or fifth tower in the vicinity, maybe in the area where the Makati Stock Exchange building is currently located.
