Not quite as uniform as that, a bit more piecemeal and all over the place, but the pace of development is accelerating. A lot of the blocks are actually getting taller.

Supplamentary planning document from Brent Council : https://brent.gov.uk/media/333266/We...Masterplan.pdf

I know that a few walks and events will be avalible to book as part of this London Open House (Sep 19-20) that will take place in the Wembley regeneration area.

If they get round to improving the River Brent and creating access across the Met and other lines, as the Masterplan says then it would be useful to put in another Jubilee line station near Neasden depot, I suppose though the disruption and logistics with all those lines may make it quite an expensive job, is there a space there for a centre platform!
Though the area around Blackbird Hill is already quite populated and the Brent Park side is growing so it would be well used.

See new designs for Wembley Park masterplan
GetWestLondon
8th September 2015

Quote:
Updated designs for the regeneration masterplan of Wembley Park have gone on display.

Quintain is exhibiting its latest designs for its remaining land at a five-day public exhibition, ending on Tuesday (September 8).

Members of the local community have the opportunity to see Quintain's vision for the site and see how the plans have developed since the first consultation in June.

Visitors will also be able to comment on the proposals before a planning application is submitted to Brent Council later this year.

The plans, developed alongside architects Flanagan Lawrence, include:

Around 4,000 new homes
A new seven-acre public park
A new three-form entry primary school
Improved transport connections around the site
Up to 1.5m sq-ft of new office and retail space
Enhanced shopping and restaurant options

Developers unveil plans for multi-million pound business district in Wembley Park
Kilburntimes.co.uk

Quote:
Developers leading the multi-million pound transformation of land around Wembley stadium have unveiled plans for a series of high-rise office blocks aimed at drawing City workers and tech start-ups to the area.

At a glitzy reception at the Hilton Sky Bar in Lakeside Way, developer Quintain revealed it is releasing 750,000 square feet of land to make way for four eight to nine storey blocks of dedicated office space.

The reception featured speeches from star broadcaster Claire Balding and leader of Brent Council Mohammed Butt as well as a presentation of images showing how the new business village and facilities could look.

James Saunders, chief operating officer of Quintain, said: “These new offices provide a great opportunity for companies to share in the success of London’s newest business destination.”

Quintain has teamed up with real estate firms Colliers International and Cushman & Wakefield to market the sites and has already secured planning permission for the wide-ranging building scheme.

Work is expected to be complete within 2 years should further planning and construction stages run to schedule.

The developers are hoping the rental price of £40 per square foot coupled with super fast broadband speeds and transport links to the West End in 12 minutes will tempt fast-growing businesses out of the city’s more tradition business districts.

Sarah O’Connell, Director of National Offices at Colliers International said: “Wembley really does have everything in place to be the next King’s Cross.

“With everything already here, employees would have access to three stations, 76 shops and 20 restaurants as well as a 9-screen cinema and the world famous sports stadium.”

The site will also offer parking space for 3,000 vehicles to serve the new businesses in addition to around 475 new residential apartments due for completion next year and another 360 flats which are under construction.
Since when is 8-9fls considered highrise , i reckon it's more to do with click bait for the Kilburn times.

Brent council have thier HQ there , Air France rents office space there too. Many if not all large scale redevelopments have some office element in thier masterplan.
