You don’t think the ‘densifying’ is already well underway?

That is a pretty imposing skyline, with plenty of apartment towers, for a city of 140-150,000 odd people.

That's why I wrote densified (past tense) not densifies (present tense).

Not sure if there is a difference.

It's about time she went to see her friend. She went to see her friend. About time.

It's about time she goes to see her friend. She hasn't seen her friend in ages. She should go.

I am probably using the expression wrong.

It's about time Darwin densifies would mean that Darwin is overdue for densification.
