I'm nestled nicely in Opey Ave in Hyde Park.
100m from the Cremorne on Unley Rd and 400m the other way to glam chick heaven, King Will Rd.

christarrant, aww and you didn't come and give me a visit? I work at Ed Harry's on Sundays on the Parade. HAHAHA.

And the Parade is more known for its eating/cafe right? There aren't that many clothing stores down there are there? I do like it as a strip though.

Its obviously the best shopping street in suburban Adelaide right? KWR doesn't even compare for shopping (though I prefer it for cafe/dining).

Jetty Rd is pretty good too, as is Unley Rd.
I'd think Unley Rd ( Cross Rd to Greenhill) would have the most shops along it of ANY Adelaide shopping strip ?

Perhaps but how impractical considering Unley road a shopping strip from Cross Road - Greenhill. I guess from the Metro onwards till Greenhill Rd is quite good and filled with shops and somewhat resembles a High St (despite the damn traffic). Still can't beat Norwood for shopping though IMO.

Agreed, Unley Rd between Northgate St and Young St is a good stretch of shops, but the traffic + lack of pedestrain crossings + lack of median strip + lack of trees makes it a tough place to shop along.

Well when I lived in Adelaide, I lived in Flagstaff Hill and I think the suburbs is in a different council now, I think its the City of Onkaparinga. Grandma lives in City in Marion and one Auntys in Onkaparinga and the other is in playford.

it's ridiclous having so many local councils by the way. sa needs, what, 5 max i think.

i had this little fat gay doorknocking because he wanted to be a politician or something with port/adelaide enfield. his platform was like, 'environment, sustainability'. i had to show a bit of crazy and yelled at him to get the fuck off my property. and don't touch the fuckin roses again. jesus.
