This seems to be true as my gf has showed me some jobs being advertised in the east village shopping centre with a start date of October 22nd.

Also i received the following via email from Payce.

Pre-Settlement Inspections
Friday 10th and Saturday 11th October 2014

PAYCE will be extending a personal invitation to you to join us at PLATINUM on either Friday 10th October or Saturday 11th October 2014 for a pre-settlement inspection of your apartment. We like to call this inspection “The PLATINUM Grand Reveal” – a fitting name as PLATINUM is certainly a stunning structure and the event itself will be a splendid celebration.

I've got to say I am a bit disappointed with 'Platinum', the apartments look very small and not as luxury as I was expecting.

It seems as though the ground floor apartments have no privacy at all unless you keep your blinds closed 24/7. Especially bad for those facing Gadigal and Hutchinson Walk due to the constant foot traffic.

I agree, lucky I'm not on ground floor... I'll make sure i take many pics of the other areas which are meant to be "luxury".

VICTORIA PARK

EAST VILLAGE CENTRE

Only 3 or so weeks to go till the opening of the East Village Urban Marketplace at Victoria Park, Zetland.
While the shops aren't super exciting except for the long patient locals, the interiors of the shopping centre by Koichi Takada Architects are EXTRAORDINARY!

Spotted by Investigator Marco yet another site for sale in Green Square:

The site is bounded by Bourke, Elizabeth & George streets, Waterloo.

The height limit & FSR are low, up to maybe 6 storeys & 1.5:1 respectively but it is a very big site. I'm hoping I've misread the plans especially given its location diagonally across Bourke Street from 960 Bourke Street (wonder what name they'll come up with for this complex?) and should have allowance for greater generosity of height and FSR. It is zoned Mixed Use B4, I think.

Have I mentioned that 890 Bourke Street sold in June for $24.5m.

No, not yet - it got pushed back in the line but it's better you've posted it as you do the pix much better.

Zenith has be off and on for at least a decade but this time, maybe it will finally get up. It's on the NE corner of Amelia & Murray streets, on the north side of Murray from ORE which is now almost complete - & also on the To Do List.

Not a fan of the design. Earlier one by Turner was better.

P.S. Get those prices!!!
