I've been noticing lately that Western Canadian industrial (Moev, Voicé Industrie, etc.) has a very strong vein of Catholicism in it. This is in stark contrast to Eastern Canadian industrial or industrial music elsewhere. It seems to be a refuge of people who moved away from Quebec and the vicinity after the Quiet Revolution, especially the children who moved away.
