The glass planned has been described as "pewter", which I believe is a grey-brown colour? I wonder if this is similar to the 1WS glazing?

Pewter Hue

I was a little far away to see exactly, but it *looked* like Abian was getting some aerial photos done...

You are correct. Abian's view shots would be all done and dusted. This is for WCL's new big tower.

Interesting I had not seen these renders before of another french quarter proposal. I am glad we didn't get this: http://wkkarchitects.com/french-quarter/

Abian is much more elegant and timeless.

Agreed - Abian's a stunner, but it does have pretty damn poor street activation, however....

I'm pretty sure these are on here somewhere. I've seen ém and it would be on here.

I like the street activation but that's all.

Initially it had really poor street activation, I thought they redesigned the podium slightly and had made an improvement to that though

From memory, there was going to be a rather lavish Turkish restaurant I believe, and possibly a cafe as well.

Agree, and once again to harp on to the point of boring even myself, it looks like it belongs in Melbourne. At last Brisbane architecture that is innovative.

Abian is on the up and up! Corebox now visible from the street and the basement levels are rising nicely!
