Big Ol' Demo Down In Houston
The 20 story 1952 former Prudential Life Building at the Texas Medical Center got imploded today.
After 1975 the tower was the Main Building for the prestigious MD Anderson Cancer Center. The site is to be redeveloped. ~ video to come...

It sucks to lose yet another midcentury building but I guess it was in the wrong place at the wrong time. (still could have been redeveloped as a hotel)

it's got the novelty of being really old but that's it... because it kind of looks like it would be one of the Ministry buildings from "1984"
wait, that's less reason to blow it up. damn.
