For me Moscow, Istanbul and St. Petersburg are very impressive. Oslo is a cool town and I just have to vote for Geneva and Zurich - the first for it's intarnational importance and beautiful setting and the latter for the romantic old town and cultural/subcultural life

Ooooh, Istanbul will take us over (I mean also Oslo, for I know and love this place as well)

I wondered anyway why not earlier and why "we" do so well...!

Istanbul should not count as it is not entirely in Europe.

I am not Turkish but I have to protest anyway
- The center and most of the population is on the European side
- As Byzanz it was the center of the Eastern Roman Empire, a really European "Nation"
