JEDDAH l COMPLETED l Auto Mall.

The Idea Behind the Project

Building a specialized, commercial center, for showing cars in a modern way, the choice of the King's Street was based upon the demographic move of Saudi Arabia (Jeddah city) population, heading towards the north, where a huge construction activity is taking place right now.

Hence emerged the idea of building the largest gathering of international car agents and showrooms in one place. Saving consumers the trouble of wandering the streets of the city of Jeddah looking for the suitable car.

Location

The area is witnessing the construction of many huge commercial projects that will bring a lot of traffic to the area, The location itself has the advantage of being close to residential areas in which high income families reside because the project is close to these areas, and because of that area's needs, the idea of changing the pattern of commercial centers to more specialized ones that serve the needs of northwestern of Jeddah City.

40Km is far?

Do people in Saudi not drive fast anymore?

Or is it because there are no hiways? so you would have to use inner streets?

90km/h in inner streets? that's fast!

people drive 60-70km in inner streets, 100-120 in hiways.

What's the speed limit in Saudi?

depends!
Highways is always 120
freeways: 70, 90 and 120 depend on which one
roads (depends on the distance b/w the traffic lights and the location) 90/40
drivers started to obey the rules recently since the police now are way strict than before
i'm talking about Riyadh though!

What the...? There is supposed to be a tower in Auto-Mall? I don't know but I see the tower in such mall is unnecessary. But then, I could be wrong.

However, I think the distance is more than 40 km. I mean, I live in Mohammediah Dist. north Jeddah and I drive a distance of 39.7 km to work at the Old Airport area. (25-40 minutes). Moreover, I (and I salute Saudi Guy for this also) respect the laws and regulations of traffic affairs. I go at 80 kmph on King Abdulaziz road eventhough it's 4-lanes wide, has quite a long distance between each traffic light and isn't considered a residential street. I swear I had people swearing at me because of the speed I drive at.
