New largest home in Hillsborough County

http://www.bizjournals.com/tampabay/...article_search

Location is terrible in my opinion. It's too big for that lake. They should have built on Keystone or Thonotosassa. Anyway, eat your heart out Derek Jeter.

Jeter's title as bigges house in hillsborough county didn't last too long!.. This house is HUGE, and I do like the unique architecture, but I agree that area might not be the best location. However, he might have gotten a good deal on those 17 acres there.

17 acres will still be tight with that size house and all the other buildings. IMO it is a terrible location. IIRC it is basically on the corner of Dale Mabry and Gunn Hwy. Well, the ramp onto Dale Mabry from Gunn, not exactly a desirable location.

Damn that is a huge house! Damn that is also a crappy location! If I had that much money I'd build a smaller house but coastal waterfront lol..

It is at least on White Trout Lake. I suppose the entrance will be off of Busch Blvd.

The lake is good, but having ramps to major road intersect with another road used by commuters, the church, and apartment complex just doesn't seem that great. I mean the neighborhoods around it are decent and there are nice houses by it.

Oh, I completely agree. The lake is a plus for the location...but that is about it. The actual location of the property is terrible. Although, it is close to one of his offices on Dale Mabry.

At least they will be close to Nicola's Donuts.

Perplexing location for a mega mansion. Certainly isn't going to help with resale value. lol

I used to do work with ROJO Architects.. they are really great guys and gals to work with. Would have been fun to come up with the HVAC for that house!

Jeter's house is magnificent, this house is stupid, and a god awful location

This complex is right by my office. They are still doing ground work, nothing else yet.

I don't see what the big deal is. It's 8 separate houses that add up to 65,000sqft or whatever the exact amount is. It's basically a gated subdivision.

Exactly, I thought it was going to be one big house. Nothing special it seems.
