looks, brrrr cold. Tho, great pictures of them in the snow...can't imagine how they get traction with steel wheels vs iron tracks. They don't have rubber. I guess those tracks have insulation to keep from snow acculmating on it.

I like that they dont have rubberwheels. The metro/subway here isnt noizy at all. Compared to Paris metro, its really silent

Barcelona Tram one day in February 2005:

It is quite unusual to see snow in Barcelona. Once every 5 or 7 years...

Both 1300 wagons and the new wagons from 1994 T2000 goes here.

Here a nice winter picture of T2000 direction Frognerseteren:

Here some from 1994. T2000 is one of the most expensive made subway wagons. To much experimental technics made it very expensive. Here is from the first day of traffic.

Actually I'm looking for a photo which gives a clue of the nice view that's supposed to be seen from the metro near Frognerseteren.

See my website: Metros with a View, Oslo is mentioned but a photo is missing.

Is this photo you've posted also Frognerseteren? Or which place is it? There also seems to be a nice view from there:

Cool website! That picture is from Frongnerseteren-line, with the view towards the city and the fjord. I do not know exactly where on the line, but it must be somewhere near the top.

This photo is not with a metro in it, but I took it near the ending station for Frognerseten-line. I should make one that includes the metro one day

Here is some more pics of Frognerseterline:

Top: Frognerseter station

Urban metro in the woods

Voksenkollen station. I like this forest picture. Though, youre infact
in the middle of Oslo ;p

Nationalteateret station. First underground station direction east.

Second underground station: Stortinget

Jernbanetorget station. Third one, towards east. Here is connection with main central train station in Oslo.

Fourth station toward east side of Oslo, Grønland

Last main underground station for all 5 lines, Tøyen

Last station for Line 1. In rushours it continues to Bergkrystallen.

I hope this info is informative, and sorry for my bad English.

Michal
