Trying to amend my horrible mistake, I'm posting this example of neo-moorish (neo mudéjar). I hope you'll forgive me

Nice

Don't worry about that, I know it can be confusing.

"Artesonado Mudéjar" (Moorish Paneling - Ceiling) in a Baroque Church

And now with this one be very very careful because is not neo moorish but really moorish, even if it's nowadays part of a barroque (rococó) church in Bogotá.

Many ceilings of important colonial buildings (from the 16th century) were brought directly from Spain and were indeed moorish.
They were reassembled and the new buildings adapted to their shape.

That style became common and in many houses (during the following centuries) builders carried on copying or getting inspiration from the moorish style.

I do, however the church is not neo-moorish or anything like it. The paneling of the main altar is the only moorish thing it has.

The church was built between 1550 and 1567 and rebuilt in 1785. One of the original features was the paneling, which was brought from Spain in the early days of the colony for strange reasons (as there was plenty of local wood).

Barranquilla - Colombia
"El Prado" Neighborhood (1930's)

This old neighborhood had great influence by both Arabs and Italians, reflected in the style they've chosen to build their houses.
