Quite enjoyed this wee article about Glasgow's role in bringing ''What's A Girl To Do'' by Fatima Yamaha into the mainstream.

That's a shame, especially for the area and its momentum. But at the same time, the place was abysmal.

Berkeley Suite for Yellow Door last night.

I am 40 years old.

I think I might be dying.

Heard nothing but good things, need to get my arse over there.

Was chatting to someone last night who just moved here and got kb'd from Subby for wearing tracky bottoms (!) I suggested Berkeley as an alternative as he's into his house but don't know how strict they are dress-code wise. He got into La Cheeta no bother anyway.

Friday nights out so you have the full weekend to recover before work are the way forward. Saturdays are for the young.

The Daily Mash had an article about 'old bastards' club nights and i actually thought they sounded great, which cannot be a good sign

I wouldn't worry too much about dress code there

Last night's nonsense.

I like Berkeley. Always a more friendly (and less predatory) crowd that other places. La Cheetah is good sometimes, really depends who's playing. Nightmare getting served though. Went to Subby recently though for the first time in ages and loved it, different vibe to Berkeley though, and it seems to cater more to bigger events and DJs that you'll have to buy tickets in advance for.

Flat 0/1s always a good option for tunes. Quite easy to find after parties these days too.
