Does anyone have an idea when this thing could be started? I know its a long shot but its so frustrating that this, riverside south and city pride have all gone quiet AND skylines village being rejected just tops off a miserable start to 2013 for London tower construction

Canary Wharf Group is marketing Heron Quays West ('One Bank Street') as its next office development on the estate. Construction will only start subject to a pre-let. Thomson Reuters is interested in the scheme with an office requirement of up to 750,000 sq ft. Nothing has been decided yet.

I suppose the decision to make Wood Wharf predominately residential is responsible for this proceeding.

I've always thought that they'd fill out the rest of the estate before starting offices in Wood Wharf. If they retarget Wood wharf towards the TMT sector then they might offer different types of office buildings.

Canary Wharf seems to be lagging behind the City a lot recently.

Thats true but when the new cross-rail station is complete a lot more development will occur in the area.

That sounds promising news. Fingers crossed. It's about time we had another mega structure to get our teeth into, although I would be quite sad to see the little 'temporary' park go.

This is brilliant news if it goes ahead with an enormous letting. What is the source of this information?
