Absoluut. Deze gebieden liggen nu relatief afgelegen, voor transport dus niet handig. Kijk maar naar landen in de EU waar weinig snelwegen liggen, dat zijn doorgaans de armere regio's. Transport is in deze tijd zo belangrijk voor de economie. De hele Nederlandse economie drijft erop. Zonder transport staat alles stil.

For the english speaking community; madao was asking me if the economy will improve if they build motorways. I think it does so. Some Moroccan regions are quite remote, because of the lack of good roads. Take a look at EU regions without motorways, they are generally the poorer regions. The whole Dutch economy is based on transport. Without transport, everything will slow down and eventually stop.
