If it's on that map than it's planned....that's the easy part though..I haven't been on that road since 2003..at that time only a tiny section was upgraded as a motorway..actually as an expressway I should say..Probably by 2013 it will become a motorway..the terrain helps if mt has the will and necessary financing..

Guys you are joking here...There isn't any km of expressway/motorway to Giurgiu. It is just an upgraded DN like DN1. Expressways, as i'm sure you all know, have grade separated intersections, service areas and many more...

How could you miss the 8-laned motorway, man?

Yes, of course there's no motorway and the planned one is only on a few maps I've seen, so we can't be sure they'll start to build one soon. I certainly don't think they will. IMO this is motorway is important too...

Dupa Berceanu, toata tara trebuie sa plateasca un miliard de euro pentru soseaua de centura a Bucurestiului De parca numai Bucuresti are nevoie de lucrari de infrastructura, iar restul tarii arde de nerabdare sa mai cotizeze pentru infatuarea Bucurestenilor.

Pana una alta BUcurestiul contribuie cu 30% la bugetul de stat si cred ca si numai din motivul asta are dreptul la 1 miliard pentru soseaua din centura (cred eu care nu sunt bucurestean de origine si am destul motive sa cred ca drumurile din anumite zone ale tarii nu sunt finantate in mod adecvat).

Chiar si 20% fiind, asta inseamna undeva spre cel putin 10 miliarde EUR anual. Nu cred ca BUcurestiul beneficiaza de toti acesti bani de la Bugetul de stat. Si chiar daca ar beneficia, nu vad ce ar fi rau in asta.

din cate stiu o centura are rolul de a muta traficul celor veniti din afara unui oras tocmai in afara orasului si nu prin centru (exact cum fac cateva sute de mii de masini zilnic in bucuresti si in alte orase) . asta da infatuare.

A fost o vreme (acum 2-3 ani) cand contributia Bucurestiului la GDP si la buget era de 30% si cred ca de atunci am ramas cu cifra asta, dar recunosc ca e posibil sa fi scazut la 20% in urma investitiilor facute in alte zone ale tarii in ultimii ani.

Your report/map contains wrong data. I think it`s an old prognosis. We have some fresh information (June 2008) here: CNP

For instance, the numbers for the South-East region are:

South-East region, GDP/capita, 2008

Braila : 4494 Euro.
Buzau : 4129 Euro.
Constanta : 8109 Euro.
Galati : 4820 Euro
Tulcea : 4402 Euro
Valcea : 3756 Euro
Total regiune: 5310 Euro

As I said I haven't been there lately..but through Google Earth...there is section of few km in between Adunatii Copaceni to Calugareni..which looks like an expressway to me...if you'll scroll down towards Giurgiu it can also be noticed that there are more works going on.My conclusion would be that by 2013 this road will get a good upgrade.Definately it's going to be more than just a DN.There are even some panoramio pics ..a relavant one is called "Water Tower"..another one "Autostrada Bucuresti-Giurgiu"..

Any road without grade separated interchanges is just national road. Its quality is indeed good but what expressway is this if you can expect anytime to see a horse with carriage coming directly into the first lane

Compania Nationala de Autostrazi si Drumuri Nationale din România (CNADNR) a scos la bataie 6,5 milioane de euro pentru a contracta asistenta tehnica in vederea realizarii documentatiilor pentru realizarea centurilor ocolitoare din 11 judete, printre care se numara si Clujul.

Conform comunicatului emis de CNADNR, consultantii vor contribui, practic, la obtinerea de fonduri europene in vederea finantarii centurilor ocolitoare.in Cluj-Napoca, consultanta tehnica ce va fi contractata de CNADNR vizeaza asa numita autostrada urbana Gilau-Jucu. “Pentru acest proiect exista deja studiul de fezabilitate incheiat. Nu stiu cum stau celelalte judete, dar la noi s-a aprobat.

Acum, in vederea obtinerii de fonduri europene, mai este nevoie si de un consultant care sa puna cap la cap toate documentatia, in ce priveste solutiile tehnice, detaliile de executie, documentatia de atribuire, totul”, sustine directorul adjunct al filialei regionale Cluj din cadrul CNADNR, Marius Cataniciu. in opinia acestuia, suma scoasa la bataie pentru consultanta este destul de mica.

“Nu stiu acum exact care va fi procedura licitatiei pentru atragerea acestor consultanti, dar banii sunt oricum putini daca avem in vedere ca valoarea unei centuri de ocolire este imensa, iar consultantul ar trebui sa incaseze intre 2 si 5% din valoare totala a acestui proiect. Iar daca cei 6,5 milioane se impart la 11 judete plus Bucurestiul, nu stiu in ce masura vor fi indeajuns”, a spus Cataniciu.

In afara de judetul Cluj, serviciile de asistenta tehnica pentru studiul de fezabilitate, proiect tehnic, detalii de executie vor mai fi contractate si pentru variantele de ocolire din judetele Ilfov, Calarasi, Constanta, Dâmbovita, Iasi, Suceva, Gorj, Giurgiu, Vrancea si Dolj. Termenul de depunere a ofertelor pentru consultanta este 1 septembrie, urmând ca in doua saptamâni sa fie anuntate societatile câstigatoare.

Durata contractului ar urma sa fie de circa 15 luni de la semnaraea contractului. in alegerea ofertei câstigatoare se va tine cont in proportie de 60% de proiectul tehnic si de 40% de propunerea financiara a societatilor interesate. Varianta de sud a autostrazii urbane este singurul,dintre noile proiecte de artere ocolitoare ale municipiului Cluj-Napoca a carui documentantie a fost aprobata de comisia interministeriala de la Bucuresti.

Autostrada urbana ar urma sa imbrace câte patru benzi pe sens si a fost evaluata la circa 100 de milioane de euro, având in vedere ca traseul a fost scurtat (Gilau - Floresti - Faget - Statiunea Palocsay - Someseni – Dezmir - Apahida - Jucu).
