I wonder why Triad is so hesitant on this project. Is it the financing, the condo component, or do they feel that office space is going to be overbuilt? Any way, they seem to be spending a lot of energy in putting this project off. Now there seems to be another two years that they've gotten from the city, and that's a long time to have a hole in your front lawn.

Generally speaking, winning the right to develop a publicly-owned property means promising more than other contenders, including the array of amenities the government wants. Those big, optimistic promises can be hard to realize.

Dislike button for Triad. While the exercise of their imagination was active and fruitful, their productive faculties have been so anemic and timid that the city had to sort of break the law in order to rescue them.

Gotta go through land use permitting, design, building permitting, etc.
