Indeed they are behind schedule, looking for funds to build the structure could have been a problem?? Or the accessibility of the construction site could have been a problem since the roads were narrow and they were waiting for it to be finished. I would estimate this building will be completed sometime in early 2015

No Times Tower is just 138m high... UAP will clearly surpass that and become east africa's biggest followed by Britam Tower and other emerging towers in the city....

I don't understand how it will be taller with at least 4 fewer floors unless you are including its elevated foundation/higher altitude (upper hill) compared to where Times tower is.

There are several buildings the height of times tower in africa but with less floors,. Floor height also matters.\

Check this list and see 88 on field is 26 floors yet taller than times tower,Nile City North Tower
is 34 floors yet taaller than TT, Monte Blanc building in Durban has 40 floors yet its shorter than TT.

Yellow crane is the UAP looks like its peaking above the trees so it could be the first or second floor or that could be the image of the first or second level of the car garage...

I past by this beauty today and its on the first floor now. Pace will pick up soon since the foundation is done and dusted. It will be a race for upperhill's tallest though britam is about +6 month behind but i have a feeling that britam will be superspeed. The guys on UAP's site keep telling me its 32flr but the same feeling seems to tell me they may increase to 35-40 but britam still beats it because of the spire

The number of floors keeps changing with every visit to the site. Im sticking with the original number given in the articles posted earlier.

CTDLT seems to have stalled too on either it's 7th or 8th color, Government and parastatals haven't been paying their contractors for several months now, that may explain the go slow on CTDLT.
