That is going to look absolutely spectacular when you get that pop of colour from the freshly laid green grass!

Camfield Drive

For those of you interested in the surrounds they HAVE actually started the Camfield Drive extension starting from the Crown Towers Perth drive called Burswood Park Drive and this will connect up to the Perth Stadium Bus Station.Its designed primarily for bus access and will provide through access to Victoria Park Drive opposite the tennis courts so buses can go in one way and out the other-obviously I think cars can access it on non game days as a convenient access point to the micro brewery

No surprises here. That's what happens when the steel fab plant contracted gets sold to a wind turbine company :P

I'm putting money on Civmec getting the contract to build it locally.

@NewPerthStadium
Construction of the five enormous ticketing booths around the Stadium are underway and will allow fans to enter from any direction

So there will be ticketing booths and a fence around the outside - rather than presenting tickets as you go into the stadium?

Really don't like this kind of setup, but probably more and more likely as authorities / stadium designers are looking at ways to prevent terrorist attacks etc (less likely for a vehicle to be able to get to the stadium proper). MCG tried this with their temporary fence last year, and other greenfield stadiums who can afford this kind of space have a similar arrangement.

You'll most likely have your ticket checked a couple of times. It's pretty standard for international events these days.

I imagine that the ticketing booths would just be for the purchase of tickets. A Box office essentially.

I'm sure you'd still present your ticket at the gate for entry.
